The 1986 World Exposition on Transportation and Communication, known colloquially as Expo 86, was the last world's fair held in North America, hosted by Vancouver and drawing more than 22 million visitors. To this day, it remains the second-largest event ever held in Vancouver.
This token, held in a burgundy folder, was gifted to people who assisted with the Ontario Pavilion at the Expo. The token displays the pavilion's logo, while text in the folder reads, "In recognition for your assistance with the ONTARIO PAVILION - Expo '86 May 2 - October 13 Vancouver British Columbia / / / En reconnaisaance de votre contribution au PAVILLON DE L'ONTARIO Expo '86 2 mai - 13 octobre Vancouver Colombie-Britanique."
