No LCW: The initials belonging to the designer, Leonard Charles Wyon (LCW), usually found on the truncation of Victoria's effigy, are missing from the coin.
Obverse: Diademed head of Victoria facing left, with the legend around.
Reverse: Crowned denomination and date surrounded by a ribboned wreath of two maple boughs.
Victoria Portrait Obverse 2:
Crown, Hair & Eye Detail: The hairline between the brow and crown is composed of one medium-sized strand. The upper eyelid is thin and straight. It does not join the lower lid at the corner of the eye. There is a shamrock behind the first jewel of the crown.
Lips and Chin Detail: The upper lip has a slight curl and curves outward. The crease line at the corner of the mouth is short. The chin has slight doubling.
Ribbon Detail: The right ribbon end "V" is split in the middle with the left point being longer. The ribbon bow is poorly formed creating a gap between it and the right ribbon.
