1892 Obv. 3 Canada 50-cents Very Good (VG-8)
Obverse: Diademed head of Victoria facing left, with the legend around.
Reverse: Crowned denomination and date surrounded by a ribboned wreath of two maple boughs.
Victoria Portrait Obverse 3:
Crown, Hair, & Eye Detail: The hairline between the brow and crown consists of one strand. There is a shamrock behind the first jewel of the crown. The upper eyelid is straight and thick, joining the lower lid at the corner of the eye.
Lips and Chin Detail: The upper lip falls straight down from the nostril to an ill-formed upper lip. There is no crease line at the corner of the mouth. There is slight doubling of the chin. There is a small space between a poorly formed bow and ribbon at the nape of the neck.
Ribbon Detail: There is a slight gap between the poorly defined bow and the right ribbon. The right ribbon end has a lazy "U" shape with equal arms.
