1953 Small Date Canada 25-cents ICCS Certified PL-66 Heavy Cameo
Two obverse varieties, called the No Shoulder Strap (or Fold) and the Shoulder Strap (or Fold) variety obverses saw use during 1953. On the 25-cents, these obverses are combined with reverses that are easily distinguishable. The No Shoulder Strap obverse comes with a Large Date reverse, while the Shoulder Strap was used with a Small Date reverse.
