2026 Coloured $2 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion Brilliant Uncirculated (MS63)
A century strong: The Royal Canadian Legion.
The 2026 $2 100th Anniversary of The Royal Canadian Legion commemorative circulation coin honours a century of devotion and affirms our collective thanks to those whose lives have focused on national service. Find it in your pocket change, or get a Colourized Special Wrap Roll of 25 coins, each featuring the same design accented with the colours of the Legion’s royal crest—gold and blue, white and red.
Founded as The Canadian Legion of the British Empire Service League, The Royal Canadian Legion traces its origins back to 1925 and was officially incorporated by a special Act of Parliament on July 17, 1926—making that date the organization’s official anniversary.
Includes the Poppy
Two Poppies appear on the coin’s reverse: a Legion member offers one to a child and their mother on the inner core, while the Poppy on the rim is based on the Legion’s logo. In Canada, the Legion championed the Poppy as a symbol of Remembrance and continues to steward its meaning through the annual Poppy Campaign, shaping a national ritual of Remembrance and support.
