2026 Canada 50-cent Brilliant Uncirculated (MS63)

In Canada, the 50-cent denomination dates back to 1870, when it was introduced as part of the first national coinage issued by the newly created Dominion of Canada.

The reverse of each 50-cent coin features Canada's Coat of Arms, which was adopted by proclamation of King George V in 1921 and first appeared on the 50-cent piece in 1937. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
