As the largest bird in Australia and the second largest in height, after the Ostrich, the Emu adores the reverse of this Australian coin. Emus can be found throughout Australia in many different types of habitats and mostly eat grass flowers, seeds and insects. The 2026 Australia $1 Emu 1oz. .999 Silver Coin is the ninth release in the Emu Series. 

The reverse illustrates depicts an Emu running through Australian terrain. The design also includes the inscription "Australian Emu," the year-date, weight and purity. The obverse features bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, the face value, year-date, weight and fineness.
