2026 Canada Commemorating the 100th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II Pure Gold Fractional Set
Celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s centennial with a gold and diamond pairing. Order today!
Released in advance to help mark the occasion with distinction, this pure gold fractional set is a centennial tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, whose historic reign significantly shaped this country’s history and identity. All four coins are double-dated to commemorate what would have been her 100th birthday (“1926-2026”) and feature a maple leaf alongside the late monarch’s royal cypher. The 1 oz. coin features two additional features: an incuse maple leaf, and a radiant diamond—Queen Elizabeth II’s birthstone—symbolizing both her legacy of steadfast commitment to her duties and her profound impact on the world.
Featuring the four effigies that span a seven-decade reign.
Canada’s sovereign has two birthdays: the actual birthday, and official celebrations typically held on the second Saturday in June. Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926—not in a stately palace, but in a townhouse located in London’s Mayfair district.
All four coins share the same reverse design by artist Claudio D’Angelo, with a Canadian maple leaf accompanied by the royal cypher of Queen Elizabeth II to mark what would have been her 100th birthday, as indicated by the double dates “1926-2026.” On the 1 oz. coin, the maple leaf is struck incuse and paired with a diamond representing both Queen Elizabeth II’s birthstone and legacy. Each obverse features one of the four effigies of Queen Elizabeth II that appeared on Canadian coins during her historic reign: the laureate effigy by Mary Gillick, the tiara effigy by Arnold Machin, the diademed effigy by Dora de Pédery-Hunt, and the uncrowned effigy by Susanna Blunt.

- A reign represented in portraits. Each coin’s obverse features one of the four effigies of Queen Elizabeth II that graced Canadians coins during her decades-long reign.
