2025 Baby Canada Loon Dollar Brilliant Uncirculated (MS-63)

Before giving birth in December, a pregnant polar bear digs a maternity den in peat banks in the fall or under the snow, where, depending on the area, she and her cubs will shelter until late February to early May.

Designed by Canadian artist Tony Bianco, the $1 coin in the 2025 Baby Gift Card Set celebrates baby’s arrival with a sweet depiction of a sleeping polar bear cub cradled by the large crescent moon in a star-filled sky. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
