From the Perth Mint's Chinese Myths and Legends Series comes this beautifully designed 1oz coin. This fierce Chinese Dragon is said to be benevolent, noble and seen to be a symbol of good fortune. The limited mintage Dragon coin features a worldwide mintage of 45,000 coins and .9999 fine Silver.

In Chinese culture, the dragon is revered as a divine mythical creature, symbol of power, strength, wealth, and good fortune, and is often portrayed alongside a luminous or flaming pearl. Dragons are also believed to be the rulers of water and weather.

The reverse of the 2021 Dragon Coin depicts a stylized Chinese dragon grasping a pearl in one of it's claws. Alongside the dragon is the Perth Mint's "P" mint mark. Behind the Chinese Dragon is a cloud design/pattern, representing the dragon's celestial realm. The coin's obverse features the likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, the face value, the year 2021, weight and fineness.
