October 5, 1984, is a milestone in Canada because it's the first time Canadians were able to travel into space. Celebrate this momentous event with this 2019 25 Cent First Canadian in Space Coin.

The reverse is created by Tony Bianco and it features a core image of the Space Shuttle Challenger superimposed over Earth. While the obverse features an image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
