A celebration 100 years in the making:

The Royal Canadian Mint proudly announces the Saskatchewan Centennial 25-cent Coin. For the first time in its history, the Royal Canadian Mint offered the public an opportunity to vote for a coin design. Selections were commissioned by the Saskatchewan Arts Board, and then chosen by Canadians.
