Missing S Variety: The second initial of engraver Thomas Shingles ("S") on the reverse, located just above the ribbon bearing the phrase "A MARI USQUE AD MARE" and divided by the shield, is missing.

Reverse: The updated Royal Coat of Arms of Canada, with the country name to the left, denomination to the right, and a crown dividing the date.
