This coin commemorates the Stone Mountain Memorial, which is the largest bas-relief sculpture in the world, carved into Stone Mountain, Georgia. It depicts three confederate leaders of the Civil War (Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson) on horseback. The sculpture was cut 42 feet into the mountain, measures 13m (90 feet) in height, and 58 m (190 feet) in width.
