1909 Canada Broad Leaves 10-cent Filler

Broad Leaves Variety: The reverse first employed for the 10-cent pieces of this reign was adapted from the 22-leaf Victorian reverse. In 1909, a new model was prepared for the 10-cent denomination. The variety thus created has been called the Broad Leaves variety, because of it's broader leaves, with strong, detailed venation.
