1882H Obverse 1a Canada 1-cent Almost Uncirculated (AU-50)
Obverse 1a Variety: Open "C" in Legend, small serif on centre bar "E" in legend.
Crown, hair and eye detail: There are three strands of hair between the brow and the crown. The upper eyelid is thin and does not meet the lower lid at the corner of the eye (as in Obverse 1).
Lips and chin detail: A small well defined upper lip curves outward. A full lower lip flows into a full round chin, with no doubling (as in Obverse 1).
Bust line detail: The bust line is rounded but far from the bead above the "C" in Canada.
