2020 5-cent The Canadian Home Front: The Victory Nickel Bronze Coin
In 1943--two years before the war ended--a hopeful shift that was in a way, fuelled by Canada's effort at the home front took place. There, the country's sacrifices and resolve were represented in this message: We Win When We Work Willingly. And this particular message is in morse code on this 5-Cent Bronze Coin -the Canadian Home Front: The Victory Nickel.
The coin depicts the celebrated Victory design by Thomas Shingles and it appeared first on Canada's five-cent coins that were released between 1943 and 1945. To add, the coin comes with a flaming torch symbolizes the sacrifices that were made by Canadians at home and on the battlefields during World War II.

- Struck again: Canada’s famous Victory nickel is brought back to life on this modern tribute to the design and the artist.

- As faithful to the original as possible. With the exception of a modern alloy, an updated bilingual coded message and a much larger size, this collectible piece of history is the culmination of our painstaking attempts to remain faithful to the original design introduced in 1943.
