Beginning in 2007, the United States Mint produced four annual coins honouring the lives of past presidents. Available separately or in an attractive set of four, each coin features the name, bust, and term of each president in chronological order, produced in a striking gold-coloured brass.
This set is the first of its kind, dating to 2007 and featuring the first four presidents: George Washington (1789-1797), John Adams (1797-1801), Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809), and James Madison (1809-1817). It comes sealed in its original packaging.
