2005 Bassano, AB, Homecoming $3 Souvenir Token, Low Mintage

Bassano is a town of about 1,200 people in south-central Alberta. In 2005, to celebrate Alberta's centennial, Bassano minted this token that, at the time, was worth $3. The token's reverse features an antique locomotive, sheaves of wheat and an oil drill -- all important industries in Alberta. Only fifty such tokens were minted.
