Bundle of 95 Sequential North Macedonia 10 Denari Banknotes, 95pcs

North Macedonia is a landlocked country in the southeast of Europe, bordered by Greece, Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, and Bulgaria. It boasts a long, proud, and incredibly fascinating history. Beginning with the Paeonians in the 6th century BCE, North Macedonia has seen Persians, Romans, Byzantines, Serbs, Bulgarians, and Ottomans come and go. In the 4th century BCE, it became a major military power under Philip II and Alexander the Great, who pushed its borders to the west of India. The modern republic, which, as the name suggests, comprises the northern portion of historical Macedonia, came about after the collapse of Yugoslavia in 1991.

North Macedonia's banknotes harken to the country's long and rich history, with each note featuring art and artifacts from Macedonian history. The ten denarii note features the beautiful peacock mosaic from the city of Stobi, whilst the obverse displays a Hellenistic statue of Isis, which was discovered near Ohrid, at the necropolis of Deboj.
