Circulating from 1878 to 1904, and again in 1921, the beautifully detailed "Morgan Dollar" (named for its designer, George T. Morgan) is one of the most popular coins in American numismatics. It features the head of Liberty on the obverse, and an eagle clutching a bundle of arrows and an olive branch on the reverse. This 1901 Morgan dollar is encased in a slab labeled with a grade of Very Good.
