The 1992 Winter Olympics, held in Albertville, France, were the last winter games held in the same year as the Summer Olympics. It saw the Winter Olympics debut of eight nations, as well as the debuts of the newly consolidated German team following the reunification of East and West Germany, and the Unified Team, representing formerly Soviet Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan.
Visa released this set of promotional pins to commemorate the event. Each pin is gold in colour and features a reference to the Winter Olympics, including skiing, hockey, skating, and the torch relay. The set comes in its original case. Please be aware that, due to their age, they have experienced some yellowing. The box shows some mild discolouration and has a somewhat weak hinge.
