Fort Myers, Florida Thomas Edison Pageant of Light Bronze Medallion
From 1885 until his death in 1931, American inventor Thomas Edison spent his winters in Fort Myers, Florida. Since 1938, Fort Myers has held a yearly event in his honour; first, the Pageant of Light, and, since 1989, the Festival of Light. This bronze token dates to the Pageant of Light era -- 1938 to 1989 -- and features a right-facing bust of Edison on the obverse and a lamp on the reverse.
