Intended to be given as a gift for a child's birth, this Australian coin set includes six beautiful proof coins: 5-cents, 10-cents, 20-cents, 50-cents, 1 dollar, and 2 dollars. 2001 was Australia's centenary, and so the designs of the 50-cent and 1 dollar coins were unique to this year. Also included is an antique-finish fine silver medallion that was intended to be engraved for the baby. Coins are presented in a perspex case and include the original folder for baby's photo and details. The medallion, which features an adorable mama and baby koala, tests .999 silver and weighs 43.4 grams.
Please note, the set exhibits some relatively light wear, mostly in that the white packaging has yellowed somewhat.
