1971 British Columbia Centennial Commemorative Medallion in Card (light wear)
1971 marked the 100th anniversary of British Columbia's entry into the Canadian Confederation. To celebrate, many commemorative coins and medals were struck -- including this one, which features a map of Canada with British Columbia highlighted. The obverse shows the triple "C" emblem of the Confederation centennial, standing for "Canada, Confederation, Centennial." In the centre is a dogwood flower, the provincial flower.
