1989 Freedom in Berlin Eyewitness Commemorative Bronze Medal (light wear)
This 1989 medallion from the Franklin Mint celebrates the dismantling of the Berlin Wall. The reverse reads: "BERLIN, NOVEMBER 10, 1989 A symbol of repression for more than 28 years falls to the forces of freedom, as joyful Germans young and old begin dismantling the infamous Berlin Wall." The obverse shows a man with a pickaxe, striking through the wall. There appears to have also been gold and silver versions of this token; this one is bronze.
Please note, the case shows some light scratches and scuffs, especially in direct light.
