In 1984, Pope John Paul II made a Papal Visit to Canada. To celebrate his arrival, many commemorative medallions were struck. This limited edition collection of fifteen medallions was produced for the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops and traces the pastoral pilgrimage of Pope John Paul II across Canada. Each medallion is plated in 24-karat gold and features highlights from the Pope's visit. Presented in matching blue cards, the medallions are presented in a lovely brown binder with COA.
