Honouring U.S. President John F. Kennedy, the Kennedy half-dollar began circulating in 1964, shortly after his assassination in November of the previous year. This collector's set presents three Kennedy half-dollars, one from each mint: Denver, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. Coins date from 1996 and prior; this one has a 1995 Philadelphia coin and a 1972 San Fransico coin. They are presented in an attractive, full-colour plastic case top keep them safe and make them easy to display.
