On July 11, 1991, at about 7:30 in the morning, Hawaii experienced the largest and longest solar eclipse since the 6th century. An eclipse of equal magnitude is not due to occur until 2132. This .999 fine silver round commemorates the occasion with an artistic representation of the eclipse over a volcano and lush jungle. The coin comes in a plush, red case.
