After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, a veritable flood of patriotic collectable coins hit American markets. This one comes from the American Historic Society, who colourized one side of the 2001 American Silver Eagle bullion coin with an image representing the "Defenders of Freedom" -- AKA, the American Navy, Airforce, Marines, and Coast Guard. The coin comes encapsulated in a plastic flip.
Please note, there are some minor scratches and scuffs on the capsule and some light wear on the flip.
