1886 6/7 Obv. 5 LBE Canada 25-cents F-VF (F15) Scratched, marks, or impaired
6 Over 7 Overdate: The "6" in "1886" was originally punched as a 7; a 6 was then struck over top.
Victoria Obverse 5: The most dramatic diagnostic point for a Variety 5 is the location of the point of the bust line, which falls to the serif of "C" in CANADA. There is a very small strand of hair below the crown. The upper eyelid is thin and long, extending well back into the temple. The upper lip has a pronounced curl and falls with a slight curve out from the nostril. An aging chin show definite doubling lines. The right ribbon end has a lazy "U" shape with equal arms.
Long Bough Ends Variety: The long stem of the left sided bough extends close to the rim of the coin.
