Originally part of a three-coin set issued by the Marshall Islands, this pair of coins commemorates D-Day, the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II which marked the beginning of the end for the Nazi occupation of France. Both coins show a soldier charging ashore on the reverse, with airships and war boats in the background. On the obverse is the Marshall Islands National Arms. Please note that both capsules show scuffs and scratches.
