1995 USA Civil War Battlefields Commemorative Coins in Original Case (light wear)

Issued by the United States Mint in 1995, the Civil War Battlefields collection features two collectible coins: a .900 silver dollar and a clad cupronickel half-dollar. Originally sold to raise funds for battlefield preservation, the coins feature detailed proof engravings that capture scenes from the American Civil War. On the dollar, a Civil War soldier gives water to a wounded enemy, while the reverse features a quote from Union officer Joshua Chamberlain. On the half-dollar, a Civil War drummer stands ready. On the reverse, a canon points over a battlefield landscape with the inscription, "Enriching our future by preserving the past." Both coins come in their original, plush case with COA.
