1986 Expo 86 Official Medallion in Original Case
The 1986 World Exposition on Transportation and Communication, known colloquially as Expo 86, was the last world's fair held in North America, hosted by Vancouver and drawing more than 22 million visitors. To this day, it is the second-largest event ever held in Vancouver.
Several "Official Medallions" were minted as souvenirs of the event. This one highlights the B.C. Pavilion, a glass complex that served as a focal point for the festival.
