Following the 1963 assassination of John F. Kennedy, 35th President of the United States, many tribute coins and medallions were produced. This one features the president's effigy on the obverse with the double dates of his life, while the reverse spotlights his famous quote, "Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You, Ask What You Can Do For Your Country."
