The Leopard coin is the second wildlife animal featured in the African Wildlife series - the first begin the elephant. Leopards can hunt from trees, where their spotted coats allow them to blend with the leaves. Pound for pound, the leopard is the strongest climber of the large cats. Leopards are also strong swimmers and are very comfortable in the water.

The majority of leopards are light colored with distinctive dark spots that are called rosettes, because they resemble the shape of a rose.
