This numismatic tribute to Canada's treasured national symbol has been sought after by collectors.
The reverse image by Canadian artist Pierre Leduc features two Sugar Maple leaves. Proudly perched upon their delicate stems the leaves portray the characteristic elements of the Sugar Maple leaf; the sparsely veined, relatively smooth-edged, and almost graphical traits of its species.
Together, the two leaves dominate the lined central field of the reverse. The reverse also features the text 'CANADA', '10 DOLLARS' and '2013'. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
