Victoria Obverse 5:
Hair Detail: Three large strands, lacking details and design, join at the temple.
Eyelid Detail: The upper eyelid curves back and overshoots the corner of the eye. The lower lid is full, and joins the upper lid at the corner of the eye.
Outer Ear Detail: One opening to the inner ear. Circular outer ear.
Dates: Portrait Obverse 5 is currenly known on the 1885, 1886, 1887, 1888, 1889, 1890H, 1891, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1896, and 1898 10-cents.
Small 6 Variety: For the 1886 coinage, three distinctly different styles of 6 were used on the reverse dies: a small 6, a large 6 with a point on its tail, and a large 6 with a large knob on its tail.
