2021 Canada $20 Dancing Diamond - Sparkle of the Heart Fine Silver Coin
The third installment of the Sparkle of the Heart series continues with the 2021 Canada $20 Dancing Diamond - Sparkle of the Heart Fine Silver Coin. Unlike its predecessors, this is the first Sparkle of the Heart coin to contain selective gold plating. This 2021 installment is inspired by Spring and the peony, the flower of romance and prosperity. Enhanced by gold-plated butterflies and flowers, it is a joyous celebration of spring, of life, and of a special love embodied by a design that strikes the perfect balance between silver and gold. The Dancing Diamond™ technology ensures that the the Canadian-sourced FIRE AND ICE™ diamond always sparkles and is a successful component in many coins that the Royal Canadian Mint creates.
The breathtaking design of this coin's reverse features the engraved design by Canadian artist Anna Bucciarelli. The reverse contains an arrangements of irises, peonies and acanthus leaves accented by selective gold-plating. The patented Dancing Diamond™ mount by Beverly Hills Jewellers allows for a Canadian-sourced FIRE AND ICE™ diamond to be set within an open circle at the centre of the coin, where it catches the light at every angle. This diamond centrepiece is nestled among gold-plated peony stamens and surrounded by spring-themed filigree like butterflies and flowers. The obverse features the selectively gold-plated effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, as well as the text “CANADA”, the face value of “20 DOLLARS”, and the date “2021”.
