By 1900, Bancroft had been connected to the Central Ontario Railway and it was a bustling hub of industry.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eToday, Bancroft calls itself the Mineral Capital of Canada, which is displayed proudly on the obverse of this $2 trade token.
