A rare banknote from the Royal Bank’s boom days, adding to the 16 previously known (of the other variety, the multicoloured frame, only one is extant). The blue lathework looks ahead to the bank’s modern colours, while the lion and Union-blazoned shield recall the country’s Britannic past. Note: there are several small pinholes/splits, and minor margin splits at upper left. Worth a good look!
