Ancient Greece 449-413BC Attica, Athens AR Tetradrachm, Extra Fine (EF-40)
The obverse of this coin features the head of the Greek Goddess Athena, Goddess of Wisdom. Adoring her head is a crested helmet with three olive leaves and floral scroll. The reverse of coin displays a standing owl, which is usually recognized as symbol associated with Athena. The hind feathers of this owl depiction is represented by a single prong. Accomapnying this night animal is an olive-twig and crescent moon on the left side of the coin.
