2010-2021 Americas Beautiful National Parks Quarter Dollar Series Generic Album

Considering the huge popularity of the Statehood Quarters Program, Congress introduced America's Beautiful National Parks Quarter Dollar Coin Act of 2008. It was unanimously approved by the House of Representatives and the US Senate in July and December of 2008, respectively, and signed into law by President George W. Bush on December 23, 2008.

Coins will be issued sequentially each year, in the order in which the featured site was first established as a national site. The Secretary of the Treasury will determine the mintage of quarter dollars for each design which will be struck in copper-nickel clad at both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints.

In addition, copper-nickel clad and 90 per cent silver proof versions will be struck at the San Francisco Mint.
