First played in 1904 at the Royal Montreal Golf Club, the Canadian Open is the fourth-oldest golf tournament in the world. In the 1980, the tournament Royal Canadian Golf Association-owned Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville Ontario became the permanent site of the prestigious sports event. Celebrate this world-class tournament with this 1999 50-Cent First Open Golf Championship Sterling Silver Coin. This is the first in a four-coin series commemorating the First Canadian Open Golf Championship of 1904 which comes in original packaging from the Royal Canadian Mint.
