2000 Freedom - November Commemorative 25-Cents Original Roll

As part of the new millennium celebrations, the Canadian government held a two-year circulating commemorative program, conducted in two parts: one in 1999 and another one in 2000. Each program released 1 coin each month which came with a unique design created from a contest open to all Canadians. This 2000 Freedom November 25-Cent Original Roll contains coins designed by Kathy Vinish which features two children standing on a maple leaf, hands raised in joy and freedom. It is surrounded with the bilingual inscriptions "CANADA" and "FREEDOM 2000 LIBERTÉ". Each roll contains 40 Royal Canadian Mint issued 25-cent coins for circulation.
