2000 Achievement - March Commemorative 25-Cents Original Roll

Open to all Canadians, The Royal Canadian Mint held a contest in which contestants were asked to submit designs for 24 millennium 25-cent coins, one for each month of the year from 1999 to 2000. The coins for the 1999 year were meant to reflect on the country’s past while the 2000 designs looked to the future. This design chosen for the 2000 25-Cent Achievement Coin was created by Daryl Ann Dorosz. It features a theme that pays tribute to Canada's space conquest efforts which is complemented by an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, created by Dora de Pédery-Hunt. This Original Roll of 2000 Achievement 25-Cent Coins is a perfect addition for any collector. Each roll contains 40 Royal Canadian Mint issued 25-cent coins for circulation.
