Since 1998, the Royal Canadian Mint has commemorated the Chinese Lunar Calendar with a sterling silver coin featuring a gold-plated cameo that highlights the zodiac sign for the year. Welcome the Dog as it takes the place of honour surrounded by all twelve animals of the Chinese horoscope.
