2013 Canada $20 Year of the Snake Fine Silver Coin (TAX Exempt)

According to the Chinese Zodiac, the year 2013 is ruled by the Snake. This coin celebrates the unique heritage and ancient culture of Chinese Canadians.

This coin is certified to be 99.99% fine silver with a weight of 7.96 grams and a diameter of 27 millimetres. The reverse design of a snake coiling on a tree perch captures the essence of the animal. The snake is flanked, on its left, by the Chinese symbols for the snake. The reverse also features the word 'CANADA,' the date '2013,' 'FINE SILVER' and 'ARGENT PUR' and the face value of '20 DOLLARS.' The purity standard '9999' is engraved below. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by artist Susanna Blunt.
