DC-26k 1923 Dominion of Canada $1 Campbell-Clark, Black Seal 3, VG

Adorning the 1923 Dominion of Canada $2 banknote is King Edward VIII. To the right of King Edward VIII's portrait is the seal of the Department of Finance. These seals were used to identify which notes were returned for redemption or destruction during the sorting process. There are five different colour seals that were used on the 1923 $2 notes: black, red, blue, green, and bronze.

In addition to the Department of Finance seals, the 1923 $2 issues were divided into four groups. Each group number can be found to the right of the seal in the same colour.
