Certain to bring back happy memories for anyone who grew up watching SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU!, this vividly coloured coin is an exciting new release from The Perth Mint.

The enduringly popular SCOOBY-DOO cartoon series premiered in 1969. The series featured four teenagers and their rather cowardly yet always loyal Great Dane, SCOOBY-DOO. The talking dog helps his friends solve "supernatural" mysteries, often with the added incentive of his much-loved cookies, Scooby Snacks.

This coin features the unlikely four-legged hero as he appeared in the original animation series. The design also includes a coloured SCOOBY-DOO! logo and The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark.

Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver.

Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2018 year-date and the monetary denomination on its obverse.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the SCOOBY-DOO 2018 1oz Silver Proof Coin.

Each coin is presented in a clear acrylic case and SCOOBY-DOO themed packaging and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
